Wugang announces steel prices for August delivery

One China top steelmaker Wugang disclosed its price change details for August deliveries with the prices of most carbon steel decreased.

All price changes listed below are exclusive of 17% VAT except stated otherwise and will come into force as of the date of issuance (12 Jul 2011).

1. HRC
HRC price maintains the same.
Q235 5.5mm*1500 is listed at CNY 4320 per tonne
SPHC 2.75mm*1250 at CNY 4370 per tonne

2. Plate
Plate price decreases.
Q235 20mm is listed at CNY 4430 per tonne

3. Wire rod
Wire rod with DLO5 down by CNY 100 per tonne
Others maintain unchanged
High speed 6.5mm Q235 pricing at CNY 4430 per tonne

4. CRC
CRC with fine quality carbon coils up by CNY 30 per tonne
SPCC 1.0mm sheet is listed at CNY 4670 per tonne

5. Galvanized steel
Galvanized steel in line
DX54-ZDX62 coils up by CNY 50 per tonne

6. Sections not changed.

7. Oriented silicon steel with all types of products down by CNY 200 per tonne.

8. Color-coated steel, unchanged.

9. Tinplate, unchanged.

The prices are exclusive of VAT effective as of Jul 12.
