Indian crude steel production in January to June 2011 is 35.327 million tonne up by 4.3% YoY.
Due to the surge in production, India has out paced Russia to retain 4th spot

India sooner will be the biggest manufacturer and suppliers of Steel worldwide. Right now India is on 4th Place and Struggling for 2nd. Indian Companies now setting up their plants world wide to reach their goal. I just found a company related to this is 100salts. 100salts are Pig Iron Manufacturer & Pig Iron Suppliers.
