Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd has acquired a 70% stake in an Indonesian coal mine for US$ 8.75 million through its step-down subsidiary incorporated in Singapore. It is not possible to quantify the total reserves at the moment as a detailed assessment is yet to be carried out along with a study of the infrastructure development required to sustain operations and the estimated investment in this regard.
The stock closed the day at Rs.473.95, down by Rs.1.05 or 0.22%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.481 and low of Rs.455.
The total traded quantity was 539 compared to 2 week average of 1721.
