Bloomberg cited Mr Shiv Madan executive director of Mozambi Coal Ltd an Australian mining company as saying that the company started drilling at two concessions in northern Mozambique in May.
Mr Madan said in an interview today in Maputo, Mozambique capital that the concessions will probably yield coking and thermal coal. He wouldn’t disclose how much the company had invested in the project. (sourced Bloomberg)
