According to research company UC361.com citing the China Iron and Steel Association that the following table ranks China top 10 steelmakers by 2010 production.UC361.com said China 10 biggest steelmakers produced a combined 304.7 million tonnes of crude steel last year making up 49% of the nation total.
That compares with 45% in 2009.Angang New Co was formed in July after Anshan Iron & Steel Group won government approval to take over rival Pangang Group Co. Angang output figure also includes production by Benxi Iron & Steel Group.Tianjin Bohai Iron & Steel Group was also established in July from a combination of four state owned producers in the northern city of Tianjin.
