It is reported that Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Union expects to return to profit in 2010 with net profit attributable to shareholders of CNY 150 million to CNY 250 million and earnings per share of CNY 0.02 to CNY 0.04.
The company recorded a loss of CNY 1.63 billion in 2009.
According to the company, demand for steel used in railway construction increased due to the construction of the national high-speed railway network.
