Czech Coal as has applied to the European Commission as a party to the formal anti-trust proceedings against ČEZ.
Czech Coal has done so after the European Commission initiated the formal anti-trust proceedings again ČEZ in mid July. Czech Coal, which feels damaged by the conduct of ČEZ on the market has submitted information and documents for the investigation to the European Commission.
According to the European Commission, ČEZ is suspected of abusing its dominant position on the Czech electricity market, in particular by hindering the entry of competitors into the market.
