China’s newly-added coal reserves amounted to 4.3 million tonnes in 2010, the Ministry of Land and Resources revealed recently.
Meanwhile, proved reserves for oil and natural gas increased 1.15 billion tonnes and 594.55 billion cubic meters in 2010, said the ministry.
As of end-2010, China had a total of 31.28 billion tonnes proven oil reserves and 930 million cubic meters proven natural gas reserves.
And, China witnessed a year-on-year increased of 12.2 percent in oil output to 201 million tonnes in 2010.
