Iron ore exports from India's Mormugao port fell 11.8% to 8.2 million tonnes in April to May due to a four fold rise in export tax and local transportation issues.
A port source said that exports steadied to 4.23 million tonnes in May from 4.15 million tonnes in the year earlier period. (sourced from Reuters)
