BEIJING, March 29 (Reuters) - Daily output of crude steel in March 11-20 reached a record 1.945 million tonnes, figures from the China Iron and Steel Association showed on Tuesday.
Despite uncertain demand, daily output stood at an average of 1.92 million tonnes in the first 20 days of the month, up from 1.823 million tonnes in February.
The figure would total more than 700 million tonnes when calculated on an annual basis.
