According to the data released by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), in mid-October (Oct. 11-20) the aggregate crude steel output of CISA member steel enterprises amounted to 15.58 million mt, while the overall crude steel output in China for the period was 17.997 million mt.
In mid-October, the average daily crude steel output of all CISA member steel producers amounted to 1.585 million mt, decreasing by 3.3 percent, while the average daily crude steel output in China overall was 1.7998 million mt, down 2.9 percent, both as compared to early October (Oct. 1-10).
