Uttam Galva Steels a producer of galvanized plain and cold rolled steel, has posted a decline of 41.39% in net profit to INR 101.10 million for the quarter ended December 31st 2010 as compared to INR 172.50 million for the quarter ended December 31st 2009. The company’s net sales has decreased marginally by 4.76% from INR 10, 916.80 million for the quarter ended December 31st 2009 to INR 10,396.30 million for the quarter ended December 31st 2010, a rise of 9.94%.(sourced:IRIS)
