It is reported that Hebei Province based Chinese steelmaker Tangshan Iron and Steel Inc a subsidiary of Hebei Steel Group exported 570,000 tonnes of cold rolled steel products in 2010. The figure is equal to 10% of China total cold rolled steel exports in 2010.
At present, Tangshan Steel export order book for coated steel products is full for the first half of 2011.
Tangshan Steel has been focusing on the development of its cold rolled steel production in the past few years. The steelmaker has also developed production of 800 mm to 1,500 mm hot dip galvanized steel products in a thickness range of 3.5mm to 4.0 mm.
