4 major coal exporters granted less export quotas in China


It is reported that China four coal exporters are granted with less export quotas in the first batch issued by the government.

As per report top coal producer Shenhua Group and China Coal Energy, the country second largest producer of the fuel, each was granted 7.45 million tonnes coal export quota plunging 29%YoY.

Shanxi Coal Exp & Imp Group was granted 1.85 million tonnes export quota, falling 29%YoY while China Minmentals Co received 1.25 million tonnes, slumping 38%YoY.

The Chinese government allocated a total of 18 million tonnes coal export quotas for the first batch in 2011.
