Shanghai: China’s imported iron ore market stayed firm for the third consecutive trading day, with most market participants remaining on the sidelines amid mixed sentiment.

Prices of 63.5% Fe content Indian fines stood at $147-149 per tonne cfr China on Monday March 5, unchanged since last Wednesday. "The market is generally stable today, as it has to take a break after the recent rises as the price meets more resistance when it reaches such high levels," one iron ore trader.
