Stronger export offer prices from Asian mills have led domestic long products prices to surge in Hong Kong. Import prices for 16-32mm diameter debar were seen to increase by as much as HK$500-600/tonne ($64-77/t) compared with levels before the Chinese New Year holidays in early February.
