It is reported that in the January to September period of the current year, Russia second largest coking coal producer Raspadskaya coal output decreased by 21%YoY to 4.669 million tonnes.
During the period in question, Raspadskaya sales of coal concentrate went down by 38%YoY to 2.766 million tonnes while its sales of run-of-mine coal increased by 8.6 times to 802,000 tonnes.
In 2011, Raspadskaya will cut coal production by 20% from the scheduled level of 8.5 million tonnes.
