Power station coal prices at Australia Newcastle port an Asian benchmark declined 0.2% in the week ended today.
According to the globalCOAL NEWC Index coal prices at the New South Wales port fell to USD 120.90 a metric ton from USD 121.17 the previous week.
Xstrata Plc the world largest exporter of power-station coal, BHP Billiton Ltd and Rio Tinto Group are among mining companies that ship coal through Newcastle.
