It is reported that in February this year Moldavian Metallurgical Plant plans to restart operations at its steelmaking shop units, stopped in July 2009.
Steel production which until the global crisis was the leader in industrial output in the Transnistrian region of Moldova amounted to value of USD 142.3 million in the region in 2010 registering a decrease of 27.1%YoY.
